Job summary

Hermès of Paris in Manhasset, NY, seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to manage store inventory, receipts, ticketing and aftersales in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Responsibilities include receiving, processing shipments, maintaining records, coordinating weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories, and budgeting for shipping and supplies. Reports to the Operations Manager and collaborates with sales teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in operations or back-of-house supervisory capacity in luxury retail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze information.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Ability to multi-task with accuracy.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow policies and directives.
• Experience with technology to use internal systems and shipping software.
• Regular in-person work at a company-designated location.
• Ability to lift 0–25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and organized store inventory.
• Organize and participate in store cycle counts and bi-annual inventories with management.
• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments within the business day.
• Ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Check in all returns against the previous day’s business.
• Print and ticket merchandise, returns and price updates.
• Process, record, maintain and follow up on aftersales service.
• Process damages and maintain inventory for damages.
• Work with Store Management to analyze business and replenish needs.
• Develop inventory.
