Job summary

Hermès Meatpacking boutique in New York seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to manage store inventory and fulfillment, ensuring accurate receiving, ticketing, shipping, returns and reconciliation.

You will partner with store management to perform cycle counts, inventories, and budgeted stock levels, maintaining organized records and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operations or back-of-house supervisory experience in luxury retail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming merchandise, entering items into inventory the same day.
• Print and ticket merchandise, process returns, price updates and damages, maintain documentation.
• Generate packing, shipping transfers and RTVs accurately and efficiently.
• Organize weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories; reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain filing systems and records for receiving, shipping and after-sales service.
• Order and manage stock levels for shipping, selling, store and kitchen supplies within budget.

Summary

The Inventory Control Supervisor at the Hermès Meatpacking boutique manages store inventory and fulfillment to support a high-end client experience. This role is responsible for accurate receiving, ticketing, shipping, returns and inventory reconciliation while maintaining timely and organized records. The supervisor works with store management to perform cycle counts, bi-annual inventories and to maintain appropriate supply levels and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in weekly cycle counts and bi-annual inventories and reconcile discrepancies.


• Maintain filing systems and records associated with receiving, shipping and after-sales service.


• Order and manage stock levels for shipping, selling, store and kitchen supplies and adhere to budgetary guidelines.

Requirements

• 2+ years of operations or back-of-house supervisory experience; luxury retail experience preferred.


• Effective written and verbal communication and the ability to analyze information and problem-solve.


• Ability to multi-task with accuracy and strong attention to detail and asset protection.


• Experienced with technology, internal inventory systems and external shipping software.


• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and follow written and verbal policies and directives.
