Job summary

Conair LLC, a global leader in personal care, health and beauty products, seeks an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee distribution center inventory, drive accuracy, and lead a team of associates. You will coordinate cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and partner with Shipping, Receiving, and Operations to sustain high service levels.

The role requires 3–5 years in inventory control, supervisory experience, and strong knowledge of WMS/ERP systems, plus Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of inventory control experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience utilizing WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of inventory control principles, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
• Ability to analyze data and make operational recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control activities across the distribution center.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation processes.
• Monitor inventory transactions and validate proper system movements.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform analysis of inventory variances and develop action plans to reduce recurring issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and support annual inventory audits.
• Supervise, coach, and develop Inventory Control Associates.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training.
• Develop work schedules and ensure proper staffing levels to support business needs.
• Monitor productivity and establish accountability measures for inventory-related tasks.
• Promote employee engagement and maintain a positive team environment.
• Partner with Shipping, Receiving, and Operations teams to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Ensure accurate processing of inbound, outbound, returns, and transfer transactions.
• Monitor inventory holds, damaged goods, and adjustment activity.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Collaborate with management on process improvements and system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain inventory accuracy metrics and KPIs.
• Prepare reports related to inventory performance, discrepancies, and trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and inventory control standards.
• Maintain audit readiness and support internal and external audits.
• Enforce all workplace safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
