Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead for its 1st Shift operation in the United States to oversee daily warehouse activities, support inbound and outbound operations, and drive productivity with hands-on leadership.

You will promote safe practices, ensure accuracy in inventory, and coordinate schedules while adapting to overtime and weekend needs. Join a global logistics leader shaping the flow of goods.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Basic computer proficiency and preferred inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound/outbound warehouse ops: unloading, receiving, put-away, picking, staging, shipping.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through ERP/WMS transactions and product locator maintenance.
• Verify inbound documentation and inspect shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Lead daily team activities, assign workloads, and ensure schedules are executed safely.
• Support warehouse organization by optimizing space utilization, product rotation, and housekeeping.
• Promote a safe work environment and ensure QSHE compliance.
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports while supporting inventory control and process improvement.
• Support business needs through schedule flexibility, including overtime, weekends, and attendance.
