Job summary

MedStar Health’s Washington Hospital Center is seeking a Supply Support Associate to manage receipt control, inventory, and issue of supplies in a busy hospital environment.

You will inspect deliveries, process receiving reports, stock shelves, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role includes supporting physical inventories and ensuring a clean, safe work area in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read, write and perform basic addition and subtraction.
• Must follow oral and written instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unpack, and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Process inventory documentation and enter items into a computerized system.
• Count stock and rotate restock items, maintaining labeling and stock integrity.
• Distribute and deliver items to internal departments as required.
• Participate in periodic physical inventories and keep work areas clean and safe.
