Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced Supply Chain - Logistics Supervisor to oversee the medical supply warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution within the hospital in Washington, DC. This full-time role covers day and night shifts and requires strong leadership and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will manage staff, coordinate storage and timely stock delivery, and maintain accurate inventory in the automated system while collaborating with Purchasing

Qualifications

• College degree or 3 years in healthcare environment.
• 2 year supervisory experience; 3 years preffered.
• License/Certification: Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage warehouse staff, including training scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Coordinates and supports the management of storage and timely delivery of all stock supplies within the hospital
• Ensures that all inventory items are accounted for within the automated inventory system by maintaining close liaison with Purchasing’s Analysts
• Demonstrate actions that reflect a proactive approach to identify and respond to employee issues. Effectively communicates employee satisfaction finds with employees as available
• Ensures that all inventory items are accounted for within the automated inventory system by maintaining close liaison with Purchasing’s Analysts
• Participates in the development of both long and short‑range goals for the department and services that are consistent with goals and objectives of the hospital
• Performs other duties as assigned/required.
