Job summary

MedStar Health is seeking a detail‑oriented Warehouse Inventory Clerk to manage receipt control, inventory, and the issue/disbursement of supplies for the facility. You will inspect deliveries, verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders, accept or reject items, and enter transactions into the computerized inventory system.

Daily duties include restocking shelves, rotating stock, keeping the work areas clean and safe, and assisting in periodic physical inventories.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to read, write and perform basic addition and subtraction.
• Requires the ability to follow basic oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify quantities against packing slips or purchase orders; accept/reject deliveries; shelve and store items.
• Process inventory records and enter items into computerized systems; monitor back orders as needed.
• Count items on shelves or exchange carts; replace damaged boxes or labels and maintain clean, organized stock areas.
• Restock shelves, rotate stock, and ensure correct labeling; assist in physical inventories.
• Issue/distribute/deliver items within WHC and assist in returns to vendors.
• Break down and discard boxes; keep work areas safe and orderly.
