Job summary

Core-Mark, a leading distributor for the convenience retail industry in North America, is hiring a Warehouse Inventory Control Coordinator in Heath, Ohio. You will monitor and maintain accuracy of inventories, count materials, post records, and prepare reports to support efficient distribution operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 6 months warehouse experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Excellent math skills for accurate inventory tracking and reconciliation.
• Ability to communicate information accurately to management and departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs with intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computing figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or investigates discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
