Job summary

Core-Mark in Solon, OH is seeking an Inventory Auditor to maintain accuracy of warehouse inventories in multi-temperature environments. You will count stock, reconcile records, and help control shrink while following safety guidelines.

The role is hourly with starting pay $19.50 per hour, offering Day 1 benefits, overtime, and opportunities for growth in a Fortune 150 company’s distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months of inventory experience in a warehouse environment (stated in ad).
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts total inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computed figures from records.
• Verifies clerical computations against physical count and adjusts discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
• Reviews and investigates daily reports.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and surveys defective/unusable items.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
