Job summary

Ameristar Meats, LLC in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for first shift. You will perform daily inventory counts, document results, and research discrepancies to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, reconciling invoices and documents, and handling inventory in a refrigerated environment while complying with safety and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of three years job experience, Inventory Control or other Clerical in a Distribution Center setting.
• HACCP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory counts and audits with detailed documentation.
• Research transactions and exceptions to derive root cause and provide resolution.
• Prepare and retain reports and records in printed and electronic form.
• Identify products in inventory database and check dates on products.
• Move and stage pallet loads with material handling equipment.
• Adhere to safety, product handling and Food Safety standards.
• Keep accurate time and attendance records and adhere to attendance policy.
