Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to work with the site Operations Manager to maintain accurate inventory levels and records at their location. You will perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, process returns, ensure proper documentation, and uphold food safety and GMP standards while following all procedures.

The role involves physical handling and reporting nonconformities to prevent inventory variances.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory management procedures and warehousing terminology.
• Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts daily as assigned.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
• Process returns and determine quality or damage status.
• Ensure proper written documentation is signed off and filed.
• Assist in physical inventories and samplings to maintain integrity.
• Locate products in the system and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards per guidelines.
• Follow GMPs and report noncompliance.
• Observe safety rules and participate in enforcing them.
• Other duties as assigned
