Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Production Associate for the Stock Yards facility in Spokane Valley, WA. The role involves preparing and packaging meat products to meet production schedules while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Work is in a refrigerated environment with a schedule Monday to Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. Pay starts at $23.00 per hour, with overtime possible and benefits offered. This position requires attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred with basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Related experience in production, warehouse, food processing, manufacturing, or food service warehouse environments preferred.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to work continually in refrigerated environments 35°F–45°F and freezer -10°F to +10°F with company provided apparel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and pack meat products to feed lines and/or prepare for the next stage of processing.
• Effectively utilize tools, processes, and materials to process and package meat products within planned schedules.
• Follow all Food Safety requirements and GMP.
• Perform visual inspection of meat products to meet specifications.
• Meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Assist in cleanliness of general work area.
