Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for the 2nd shift (Tue-Fri, 4pm-2:30am) to conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventory, and support the Inventory Supervisor on stock materials. WMS and forklift experience preferred.

Excellent attendance and ability to travel to other facilities are required. Compensation ranges from $22/hr to $23/hr with tenure-based increases and an employee ownership program offering potential shares and long-term value.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read, write emails.
• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.
• Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
• Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
• Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time.
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Spends 80% or more of the workday performing inventory related activities in the warehouse using an RF Gun or Tablet.
• Clerks are required to travel to and assist at other facilities as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation.
