Job summary

Walgreens is seeking anInventory Control Associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices across the store and pharmacy. You will handle receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy, while supporting front end and pharmacy operations.

You will review reports, ensure on-hand balances and pricing accuracy, and lead the warehouse/vendor inventory processes. A focus on On-Shelf Availability and problem resolution will be essential, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes, monitors, and trains inventory best practices and SOPs for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability and manages planograms accuracy.
• Reviews and coordinates use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes and coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes.
