Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Warehouse/Inventory Associate to handle inbound product, stock inventory, and ensure accurate counts and documentation. Responsibilities include unloading, storage, and batch reconciliation with attention to safety and efficiency.

Experience with RF-directed stocking is preferred; candidates should read alphanumeric data quickly and work well in a team. The role offers opportunities for training and growth within the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to pass a company-standardized test.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and match numbers and letters quickly and accurately.
• Experience in warehouse operations, especially with alphanumeric or RF directed stocking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Unload various types of merchandise from trailers, containers and trucks.
• Match skid or box counts to the Proof of Delivery documentation, noting discrepancies.
• Place skids where assigned on or near the dock and document Vendor Compliance issues.
• Receive product on assigned batches and stock from vendors and other sources.
• Store products in storage locations from floor level to 72 inches high and use equipment as needed.
• Research discrepancies, confirm corrections, and close the batch releasing product to inventory.
• Follow procedures to acquire product from reserve locations and replace in storage locations.
• Provide training to new team members and communicate procedural changes.
• All other duties as assigned.
