Job summary

White Cap is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in Connecticut. This role focuses on auditing inventory, resolving issues, and maintaining accuracy across daily order processing. It offers growth in a diverse, reputable environment with strong benefits.

Benefitting from a robust safety culture, the position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, following safety policies, and contributing to quality control manuals while working 7:30 AM–4 PM in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of inventory control experience.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and maintain safety.
• Experience with RF scanners, WMS software, and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
