Job summary

White Cap Management, LLC is hiring an Inventory Control Associate in Connecticut. The role focuses on auditing inventory during daily orders, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate stock levels across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in inventory control, familiarity with WMS and RF scanning, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4 PM, with strong attention to safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in inventory control or related roles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
• Familiarity with internal controls and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and check quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain inventory control manuals and safety procedures.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments.
• Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality.
• Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4 PM
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Experience with WMS software.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
• RF scanner experience
