Job summary

White Cap is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join its on-site team in Memphis, TN. You will audit inventory to keep systems balanced during daily order processing, research and resolve discrepancies, and support cycle counts to maintain accuracy across warehouses.

Preferred qualifications include forklift experience, Spanish language skills, and experience with Oracle or similar sales order software.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of inventory control experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies; ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy; complete follow up to previous adjustments; perform cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receive products from vendors to check for quality and communicate issues to buyers.
• Maintain quality control and inventory manuals.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Follow company safety policy and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
