Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to join our team in Norcross, GA. The role focuses on auditing inventory, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accuracy across warehouse operations.

You will work on-site with the team, handling receiving checks, quality communications with buyers, and following safety guidelines. 2–5 years of related experience is preferred; lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control and cycle counting in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management or ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
• Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies accurately.
• Earliest 2–5 years of related experience; may lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to balance systems during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve inventory issues and discrepancies; ensure internal controls.
• Maintain inventory accuracy; follow up on prior adjustments and perform cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and check quality; communicate issues to buyers.
• Maintain safety and quality manuals; follow company policy.

An Inventory Control Associate at White Cap…

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve all issues, adjustments and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy. Complete follow up to all previous inventory adjustments. Completes and reviews cycle counts.
• Maintain time control tables consistent with base tables, key and review allocations.
• Receives products from vendors to check for quality. Communicates potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.
• Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 2-5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, auditing, or inventory reconciliation in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Proficiency using inventory management, ERP, or sales order systems (e.g., Oracle or similar software)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies accurately
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely; certification preferred
• Ability to analyze inventory data, maintain accurate records, and support inventory accuracy initiatives
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, product tracking, and inventory movement
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams
• Knowledge of construction or industrial products is a plus; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
