Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking an Inventory Associate in Allentown, PA for a direct-hire position. The role supports Receiving, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve inventory issues using SAP, WMS, and RF technology.

The duties include cycle counting, handling RGAs/returns, assisting QC and warehousing, and driving process improvements. 1–3 years’ distribution experience preferred; OT and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in distribution/inventory control is expected.
• Knowledge of SAP/WMS and RF technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Receiving and Operations with investigation and resolution of inventory issues.
• Assist Cycle Counting with investigating inventory issues using Material Handling Equipment.
• Partner with Customer Service to issue RGAs and handle returns.
• Process returns and prep for destruction or return to stock with QC/Warehousing.
• Partner with Quality Control to process, receive, and ship controlled substances.
• Investigate customer shorts to resolve and improve satisfaction.
• Assist Customer Service with inventory inquiries.
• Assist Quality Control with inventory issues related to product destruction.
• Identify opportunities to improve distribution processes.
• Generate metrics and reporting around KPIs.
• Assist with Picking and Auditing using stand-up reach forklift during EOM/EQ.

Leading Distributor in Allentown PA has an immediate need for an Inventory Associate.

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to support the - and Customer Service teams in resolving Inventory issues using SAP, WMS and other appropriate tools resulting in enhanced customer experience and increase customer satisfaction. The scope of this position is within all areas of inventory management and inventory control within the distributioncenter

• Assist Receiving and Operations teams with the investigation and resolution of inventory related issues.


• Assist Cycle Counting team with investigating inventory related issues utilizing Material Handling Equipment


• Partner with Customer Service in issuing RGAs and other return issues.


• Process returns and prepare product for destruction or return to stock partnering with Quality Control and Warehousing as applicable.


• Partnering with Quality Control to process, receive, and ship control substance materials.


• Investigating customer shorts leading to resolution and customer satisfaction.


• Assist Customer Service with inventory related issues and inquiries.


• Assist Quality Control with inventory issues related to product destruction.


• Identify opportunities and drive process improvements throughout the distribution operations.


• Generate metrics, analysis and reporting around key performance indicators.


• Assist with Picking and Auditing functions utilizing stand-up reach forklift, powered pallet Jack during End of Month and End of Quarter timeframe.

Educational Qualifications

• HS Diploma/bachelor’s degree required Experience

Requirments

• 1-3 Years of Distribution/Inventory Control Experience Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)


• WMS (Manhattan) experience preferred


• Technical capacity with Excel and Outlook


• Pharmaceutical Regulatory statues, GMP compliance


• Previous Distribution, Inventory Control, and Forklift training


• Experience with RF technology


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Organizational Skills


• Time Management


• Working knowledge of SAP Inventory Transactions required.


• Experience in the Pharmaceutical and or Medical Device Industry preferred.


• Ability to work OT and weekends when needed


• Ability to communicate with external suppliers via phone, e-mail


• Setup and lead meetings across Glenmark functions and external vendors


• MHE – Material Handling Equipment certification

(1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm) $25.00 per hour
