Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a leading pharmaceutical distribution company in the Allentown, PA area, is seeking a Distribution Associate, Inventory Control to join their Operations team! This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations and customer service by investigating and resolving inventory issues, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Distribution Associate, Inventory Control Job Summary:
- Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
- Shift Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Support Operations and Customer Service teams by investigating and resolving inventory-related issues
- Assist Receiving and Operations teams with inventory discrepancy resolution
- Support Cycle Counting activities and investigate inventory variances utilizing Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Partner with Customer Service to process RGAs and resolve return-related issues
- Process returned products and coordinate disposition activities, including return-to-stock and product destruction procedures
- Work closely with Quality Control and Warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions
- Assist with the processing, receiving, and shipping of controlled substances in compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Investigate customer shortages and drive resolution to improve customer satisfaction
- Assist Customer Service with inventory inquiries and issue resolution
- Support Quality Control with inventory concerns related to product destruction activities
- Identify process improvement opportunities within distribution operations
- Generate inventory reports, metrics, and analysis related to key performance indicators
- Assist with picking, auditing, and warehouse operations during End of Month and End of Quarter activities
- Utilize stand-up reach forklifts, powered pallet jacks, SAP, WMS, and RF technology to support daily operations
- Maintain inventory integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance throughout the distribution center
Distribution Associate, Inventory Control Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree required
- 1-3 years of Distribution, Warehouse, or Inventory Control experience required
- Working knowledge of SAP inventory transactions required
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Manhattan WMS preferred
- Intermediate technical skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Previous inventory control, distribution, and forklift experience preferred
- Experience utilizing RF scanning technology
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and GMP compliance preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with external suppliers via phone and email
- Ability to coordinate and lead meetings with internal departments and external vendors
- Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industry experience preferred
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification preferred
