Job summary

Envision is seeking an Inventory Control/Receiving Admin in Farmers Branch, TX to manage component receipt, verify quantities, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will use ERP systems to document receipts, perform counts, and coordinate with the warehouse team to support production schedules.

This role requires a High School Diploma, 2–3 years of inventory control/receiving experience, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience in inventory control and receiving strongly preferred.
• Pallet Jack and stand-up cherry picker experience required.
• Good math and computer skills for documents and spreadsheets.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Use pick list to pull components for production work orders.
• Stage components for delivery to production warehouse.
• Verify items/quantities from work orders.
• Perform cycle counts on items and bin locations.
• Record adjustments and report discrepancies promptly.
• Document receipts in ERP and attach reports to P.O.
• Load/unload trucks as needed and operate forklifts.

POSITION SUMMARY

An Inventory Control/Receiving Admin is responsible for tasks in connection.
With the receiving of components from vendors and manufacturing, verifying/maintaining receipt records and inventory control functions of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

• Use a pick list or expedite form to pick/pull components for production work orders
• Stage all components for delivery to production warehouse
• Confirm items and quantities from WO picks/expedites
• Cycle Count items and bin locations - proactive and reactive counts
• Systematically make moves or adjustments according to manual count
• Report any large inventory discrepancies to Warehouse leader and wait for further direction
• Put away raw materials from production work orders or PO’s, processed components and finished goods and systematically move into ERP
• Operate stand up, pallet jack or cherry picker to move material from staging area to storage area (bin)
• Check incoming merchandise for quantity, description, and damage; report discrepancies to Warehouse leader, ensuring management is immediately notified of any discrepancies impacting production schedule
• Ensure appropriate paperwork/labels accompanies all merchandise and is completed accurately
• Complete receiving in the ERP system and process reports, attach them to the P.O., copy file
• Assist or lead year-end physical inventory count teams
• Maintain file of receipts per vendor
• Maintain accurate, manual inventory records
• Organize, maintain and clean the warehouse area; report maintenance and repairs of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to Warehouse leader
• Effectively communicate to all persons involved with purchase orders, work orders or sales orders of any issues with inventory that will affect the schedule or plan to ship
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Operate box truck as needed
• Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
• Work under general supervision

Qualifications: JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in inventory control and receiving strongly preferred

Knowledge/Skills:

• Pallet Jack, Stand-up cherry picker experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels
• Math and computer skills necessary to create and/or update documents and spreadsheets
• Possess a positive work attitude and a willingness to carry out instructions
• Ability to express and share knowledge and ideas in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current valid driver’s license required.
• Must maintain a current forklift certification.
