It's a job that makes a difference.POSITION SUMMARYAn Inventory Control/Receiving Admin is responsible for tasks in connection.With the receiving of components from vendors and manufacturing, verifying/maintaining receipt records and inventory control functions of the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:Use a pick list or expedite form to pick/pull components for production work ordersStage all components for delivery to production warehouseConfirm items and quantities from WO picks/expeditesCycle Count items and bin locations - proactive and reactive countsSystematically make moves or adjustments according to manual countReport any large inventory discrepancies to Warehouse leader and wait for further directionPut away raw materials from production work orders or PO’s, processed components and finished goods and systematically move into ERPOperate stand up, pallet jack or cherry picker to move material from staging area to storage area (bin)Check incoming merchandise for quantity, description, and damage; report discrepancies to Warehouse leader, ensuring management is immediately notified of any discrepancies impacting production scheduleEnsure appropriate paperwork/labels accompanies all merchandise and is completed accuratelyComplete receiving in the ERP system and process reports, attach them to the P.O., copy fileAssist or lead year-end physical inventory count teamsMaintain file of receipts per vendorMaintain accurate, manual inventory recordsOrganize, maintain and clean the warehouse area; report maintenance and repairs of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to Warehouse leaderEffectively communicate to all persons involved with purchase orders, work orders or sales orders of any issues with inventory that will affect the schedule or plan to shipLoad and unload trucks as neededOperate box truck as neededFlexibility to perform other duties as assignedWork under general supervisionJOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDEEducation: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredExperience: 2-3 years’ experience in inventory control and receiving strongly preferredKnowledge/Skills:Pallet Jack, Stand-up cherry picker experienceStrong communication and problem-solving skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levelsMath and computer skills necessary to create and/or update documents and spreadsheetsPossess a positive work attitude and a willingness to carry out instructionsAbility to express and share knowledge and ideas in a team environmentAbility to multi-taskLicenses/Certifications:Current valid driver’s license required.Must maintain a current forklift certification.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESTotal Number of Employees Directly Supervising: 0Number of Subordinate Supervisors Reporting to Position: 0VISION REQUIREMENTS INCLUDECan be performed with or without assistive technology:X Required to perform activities such as: preparing/analyzing data/figures; viewing a computer screen; reading; inspecting small objects for defects; using measuring devices; and/or assembling parts with close eye contact.X Required to perform activities such as operating machinery and/or power tools at or within arm’s reach; performing non-repetitive tasks such as carpentry work or repairing machinery.X Required to review/inspect own assigned work, the work of others, or facilities or structures.Requires normal (or corrected to normal) vision/acuity:X Required to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment such as forklifts.“To improve the quality of life and provide inspiration and opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired through employment, outreach, rehabilitation, education and research.”Integrity Curiosity Passion Initiative Teamwork ExcellenceCOMMENTSEnvision, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic.
