Job summary

KeHE Distributors is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to drive accuracy in a high-volume DC, owning root-cause analysis and cycle counting within a dedicated temp zone. You will partner with DC leadership to translate data into actionable improvements.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities to influence inventory strategies across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience owning a dedicated inventory or workflow area within a high-volume DC.
• Familiarity with reporting / data querying (Excel, Power BI, SQL) and MS Office.
• Ability to build and interpret inventory trend analysis.
• Prior experience facilitating cross-functional projects with DC or operations leadership involvement.
• Comfortable in leadership capacity during absence of direct management, and ability to make sound decisions with credibility.

Responsibilities

• Own root cause analysis on large-value inventory adjustments and variances, documenting impact and preventing recurrence.
• Manage and execute Recall, DAP, UDR, VFR, Salvage, and Donation protocols with full process fluency.
• Translate quantitative findings into concise, evidence-based narratives for DC leadership.
• Maintain full ownership of the assigned temp zone within the DC, guiding daily workflow and issue resolution.
• Conduct cycle counter audits and coach opportunities with the DC IC Manager.
