Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Materials Management professional in Austin, TX, to ensure timely stock delivery and maintain storeroom levels with strict rotation to minimize waste. The role requires interaction with clinicians, administrators, and vendors in a fast-paced hospital environment. Location: Dell Seton Medical Center, Department: Materials Management.

Schedule: Full time, Day shift. High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory and maintains storeroom levels.
• Removes expired products promptly and rotates stock per guidelines.
• Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues.
• Maintains accurate inventory tracking records and minimizes expirations through proper rotation.
• Engages with customers to provide professional service across departments.
