Job summary

Ascension's Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX, is seeking a Materials Management professional dedicated to ensuring timely stock delivery and accurate inventory control. You will maintain storeroom levels, minimize expired stock through rotation, and operate within a team that supports clinicians, administrators, and vendors on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely delivery of stock and maintains storeroom inventory.
• Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and minimizes stock expiration via rotation.
• Interacts with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors to ensure good service.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed. Maintains storeroom inventory levels and timely removal of expired products.
• Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues/problems.
• Maintains accurate tracking records for inventory. Ensures stock expiration is minimized with adherence to stock rotation guidelines and best practices.
• Engages customers on a regular basis to ensure good service. This requires professional presence to effectively interact with clinicians, administrators, colleagues, and vendors.
