Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Allocation Analyst in Chesapeake, VA to oversee merchandise deployment from distribution centers to stores.

You will split orders, maintain balanced inventories, and drive analytics-based improvements to turns and profitability. Responsibilities include coordinating with Merchants, Assortment Planners, and Financial Planners, reviewing category performance, and ensuring timely replenishment of event/SKUs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1–3 years of retail store experience or merchandise allocation is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Excel/Office tools for analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the inventory deployment strategy for 700–1,000 SKUs with $110–$150M in annual sales.
• Split purchase orders to DCs to maximize store service levels and department turns.
• Allocate and replenish items weekly per strategy and merchant vision.
• Collaborate with Merchant, Assortment Planner, and Financial Planner to align allocations with sales goals.
