Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assortment Planner at its corporate office to define and optimize product assortment strategy. You will analyze performance, develop plans, and provide data-driven recommendations that support category success.

You will partner with Category Directors and Merchants, influence stakeholders, and use planning tools to drive strategic initiatives. This role emphasizes collaboration across merchandising, inventory, and store operations in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, merchandising, marketing, analytics, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in assortment planning, merchandising, or related analytics role.
• Experience using assortment planning software and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for PLRs and BRs with accurate data and insights.
• Develop and maintain assortment plans aligned with category strategies.
• Evaluate item and store clustering to inform assortment recommendations.
• Conduct weekly analysis of top and bottom performing products and KPIs.
• Present findings clearly to merchandising, inventory, and store operations teams.
