AutoSavvy, a leading automotive dealer with 20 stores nationwide, seeks an Inventory Accountant in Woods Cross, UT. You’ll oversee inventory accounting, ledgers, and internal controls, supporting audits and cash projections related to inventory purchases.

The role requires strong accounting foundations, analytical skills, and experience handling large datasets. Collaboration with operations and treasury is essential to sustain accurate reporting and financial health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Two+ years in accounting, inventory, audit, or financial analysis.
• Strong GL accounting and account reconciliations.
• Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control over inventory activity and related transactions.
• Reconcile inventory general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Develop inventory audit procedures and internal controls.
• Monitor purchased, held, and sold inventory for accurate recording.
• Prepare cash-flow projections for inventory purchases and financing.
• Identify aging inventory and financial risks.
• Collaborate with operations, purchasing, sales, treasury, and accounting teams.
• Assist with month-end close, reporting, audits, and management reporting.
• Create reports to improve visibility into inventory performance.
