Job summary

Kia America is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee Wholesale Vehicle Accounts Receivable and related inventory accounting, with responsibility for logistics accounting and internal controls at our Irvine campus. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in automotive accounting.

You will analyze entries, prepare management reports, reconcile accounts, and support strategic financial decisions while coordinating with operating departments and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in Cost Accounting.
• Wholesale and/or Retail Accounting experience preferred.
• Automotive accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting for Wholesale Vehicle, Vehicle Inventory, Logistics cost recognition and reconciliations.
• Manage vehicle cost capitalization, appraisals, and standard costing.
• Lead audits and prepare ad-hoc reports for management.
• Collaborate with Distribution and Logistics for contract changes and program implementations.
• Ensure data integrity and develop automated reports and processes.
