Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL seeks an Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist to join Morton Plant Hospital. This full-time on-site role supports radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating x-ray/ultrasound equipment and managing patient care, RIS data, and related duties.

The position requires Florida radiology licensing, ARRT specialty, BLS, and 1 year radiology experience; vascular interventional certification within one year is expected.

• Radiology license in Florida
• 1 year radiology experience; 1 year vascular experience preferred
• Must obtain vascular interventional modality certification within one year of employment

Responsibilities

• Assists radiologist with patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment for patient care.
• Manages RIS data, file room, clerical duties and supports physician and patient transport as needed

Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• The Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist assists radiologist with all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Relevant Specialty
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associate's Degree – Radiology
• 1 year Radiology experience; 1 year Vascular Preferred
• Must receive Vascular Interventional modality certification within one year of employment
