Job summary

BayCare is seeking an Invasive Vascular Radiology Tech to assist radiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and maintain diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment, manage RIS data, and support patient transport and related duties.

Requirements include ARRT specialization in Cardiovascular/Invasive Vascular or Radiology, a radiology license, and BLS. Hybrid room vascular experience is required. Assignment-based postings across BayCare facilities.

• BLS certification is required.
• Hybrid room vascular experience is MUST.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

The Invasive Vascular Radiology Tech assists the radiologist with all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Position fills needs throughout the system by completing 13-week commitments. Assignment available based on needs of the health system.

Required Certification includes ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) specializing in Cardiovascular, Invasive Vascular Interventional, or Radiology, in addition to Radiology License and BLS (Basic Life Support). MUST HAVE HYBRID ROOM VASCULAR EXPERIENCE.
