Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist (VI Tech) to support interventional radiology services at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater and other BayCare facilities in the Tampa Bay area.

The role requires ARRT VI certification within 12 months, Florida radiology licensure, and 1 year of radiology experience with vascular preferences. A competitive benefits package accompanies a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist must obtain VI Specialty within 12 months of employment
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associate Degree – Radiology
• 1 year Radiology experience; 1 year Vascular preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists radiologist with patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment for patient care.
• Imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, clerical tasks, physician assistance, patient transport as needed

Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist Responsibilities:

• The Invasive Vascular Radiology Technologist assists radiologist with all aspects of patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Operates and maintains diagnostic x-ray and ultrasound equipment in the performance of patient care.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Must obtain Vascular Interventional (VI) Specialty certification within 12 months of employment
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
• 1 year Radiology experience; 1 year Vascular Preferred
