Qualifications

• Must have an AA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals and procedures.
• Strong math and reasoning skills for calculations and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization.
• Maintain cath lab equipment, monitors, and information systems.
• Schedule procedures and review patient history for lab procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and hemodynamic data.
• Ensure infection control and radiation safety compliance.
