Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Language, math, and reasoning skills essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician with catheter insertions in diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization.
• Maintain and label patient charts, ensuring iodine allergy information is accurate.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain lab equipment.
• Schedule procedures and review patient histories for the lab.
• Record procedure data and calculate ejection fraction and cardiac output.
• Maintain cath lab network computers and PACS systems.
• Document charges for procedures and communicate patient condition to the team.
