Intermountain Health’s St James Hospital in Butte, MT, is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to support physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role requires 40 hours/week with 10-hour shifts and call.

The position emphasizes data collection, sterile technique, and collaboration with the clinical team to ensure accurate records and patient safety. Benefits are available and clinical growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret journals/regulations; write reports.
• Math: proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume.
• Reasoning: solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsabilités

• Update and maintain patient files after procedures, labeling charts for iodine allergies.
• Regularly clean equipment, transducers, pressure injectors and compressors.
• Inspect catheters and guide wires; order and stock supplies.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines/procedures.
• Schedule procedures for lab; review patient history and data.
• Assist physician with catheter insertions, angiography, angioplasty, stents and pacemaker insertions.
• Recognize dysrhythmias and EKG changes.
• Understand pressure waveforms and hemodynamic data.
• Communicate patient assessments to physicians and health team members.
• Record procedure data; calculate ejection fractions and cardiac outputs.
• Operate balloon pump.
• Maintain hemodynamic monitor and PACS (WITT/PACS).
• Assist for cardioversions in cath lab.
• Know lab data, pharmacology, and x-ray concepts.
• Review procedures and apply charges.
