Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks an Invasive CV Technologist at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, collect clinical data, and help ensure patient safety in the cath lab.

This full-time role requires 40 hours weekly with usually 10-hour shifts and call. A relevant Associate degree and BLS/ACLS certifications are expected, with potential for career advancement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
• BLS required upon hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in performing cardiovascular/interventional procedures and documents data.
• Maintains patient records and labels charts, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Inspects and maintains cath lab equipment and supplies.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Records data such as ejection fractions and cardiac outputs accurately.
