Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist for St James Hospital in Butte, Montana. You will assist physicians during catheterizations and interventional procedures, collect procedural data, and maintain charts, equipment, and records to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

The role requires an associate degree or related experience, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, and strong data management and teamwork skills. 40 hours weekly with typically 10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 12 months of upon hire
• LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret; write reports and manuals
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and proportions
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during invasive CV procedures and record data for interpretation
• Perform equipment cleaning, maintenance, and supply stocking
• Inspect catheters/guides and ensure proper labeling and labeling of patients
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and document procedures accurately
• Schedule procedures and review patient history for lab planning
• Assist with catheter insertions, angiography, and related interventions using sterile technique
• Demonstrate recognition of dysrhythmias and hemodynamic data interpretation
• Maintain and operate hemodynamic monitors and PACS system
• Communicate patient status and any concerns to the health team
• Review procedures and apply appropriate charges
