You will assist physicians, scrub, monitor, and circulate during complex cardiac procedures and provide cross-campus coverage as needed. The role requires specialized diplomas in cardiovascular science or radiology with cardiovascular experience, plus PA certifications (RCIS/RCES/RT/CCT) within stated timelines, and cardiovascular

Qualifications

• Specialized cardiovascular or radiology education with cardiovascular experience.
• Ability to work across catheterization, EP lab and recovery areas.
• Certifications must be obtained within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room in a timely manner with all anticipated supplies and equipment.
• Assists in positioning, prepping, and draping of the patient; maintains asepsis.
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring during routine and complex procedures and responds to changes.
• Scrubs, monitors, and circulates for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Assists and anticipates physician needs; participates in arterial/venous sheath removal and device use.
• Keeps equipment functioning and manages inventory and par levels.
