Job summary

Penn Medicine Lancaster is seeking a Cardiovascular invasive specialist to assist physicians during invasive cardiology procedures, maintain sterile technique, and provide radiographic care for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in the cath lab. The role includes monitoring hemodynamics, supporting device implants, and participating in patient education and team collaboration.

A high school diploma or GED and RCIS/RCES/VI certification within two years are required, with preferred

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (minimum).
• RCIS/VI/RCES certification required within 2 years of hire.
• Experience in invasive cardiology or EP/CATH is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during invasive procedures and maintain sterile field; ensure equipment setup and contrast administration.
• Provide radiographic care and assist with implantable devices (stents, pacemakers, ICDS) as needed.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and document procedure-related data; coordinate care across disciplines.
• Support clinical instruction of students and staff and communicate effectively with patient families.
