Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Cardio Invasive Specialist to deliver advanced technical and patient care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. You will assist with catheterizations, valve studies, and complex studies while preparing patients and equipment for high‑risk cases.

Ideal candidates have RCIS/RCES certification or are eligible, ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year in an adult Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in invasive cardiovascular technology or related field.
• Minimum one year in adult Cardiac Cath Lab.
• RCIS/RCES preferred; certification within time if not yet.
• ACLS within 6 months; PALS required for some locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and patient care support during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Scrub, monitor, and circulator duties with medication and IV responsibilities.
• Prepare patients and equipment; monitor patient status throughout procedures, ensure safety and efficiency.
• Document accurately in electronic health record; support quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Train and orientation for new staff; serve as a clinical resource and SME for equipment.
