Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to coordinate the technical and patient care components of cardiac and peripheral angiograms and other invasive procedures under the Cath Lab leadership. You will monitor patients during procedures, record hemodynamics, assist physicians, and ensure timely response to emergencies, including a 30-minute response time.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology Science, Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, or EMT-Paramedic.
• ARRT, RN, RECS or RCIS certification required.
• Two years Cath Lab/EP experience preferred.
• Credentials/licensure/registry must be current to remain compliant.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care.
• Maintain BLS; ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical and patient care for cardiac and peripheral angiograms and other invasive procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and record hemodynamics.
• Assist the physician in performance of angiographic and interventional procedures.
• Be available for emergency call with a 30 minute response time.
