Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a CV Invasive Specialist I to support cardiac catheterization procedures with supervision. You will scrub, circulate, and assist in diagnostic, interventional, and CRM procedures, while documenting events and maintaining hemodynamic data.

The role requires BLS/PALS/ACLS as applicable, and multiple pathways to qualification, including health-science degrees or radiology/cardiovascular tech education. On-site at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• PALS or ACLS certification with 3 months of start.
• Bachelor’s degree in health science with limited healthcare experience.
• Graduate of radiologic or cardiovascular technology programs.
• 1 year healthcare experience if diploma/associate.
• CVIS training with required state-specific credentials.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure room and assist with post-procedure turnaround.
• Maintain knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies; document hemodynamics.
• Provide patient education and emotional support; foster teamwork.
• Assess patient condition and inform physician of deviations during procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure radiology safety.
