MUHA Cardiovascular Technologist I assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions in invasive procedures, supporting basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures. The role acts as a resource to staff in the EP Lab setting.

Position details include 40 hours per week, hourly pay, and requirements such as RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years, BLS, and ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Qualificações

• RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification required within the first 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS required; ACLS obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Graduation from an accredited invasive cardiovascular technology program or radiologic technology with related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions, including left heart catheterization and right/left heart catheterization with minimal assistance.
• Performs scrub duties for peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Set up back table and maintain sterile field.
• Record left and right heart catheterization hemodynamics with accuracy.
• Monitor procedure and log events in MacLab as required.
• Maintain ECG setup and rhythm monitoring.
• Maintain basic hemodynamic setup and waveform monitoring.
• Prepare room with staff for safe patient care.
• Perform required safety equipment checks.
• Ensure adequate supplies for procedures.
• Transport patients alone or with staff as needed.
