Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to deliver and document nursing care in an assigned area, following provider orders and established standards.

The role involves directing nursing staff, observing patient conditions, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have Ohio RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications and may benefit from OR or critical care experience.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio is required.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS and NRP certifications preferred or required within stated timeframe.
• BSN degree preferred; CNOR is a plus for OR nursing.
• OR/PACU or critical care experience highly valued.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; supervisory or project management experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, document and evaluate nursing care per orders and standards.
• Direct activities of assigned nursing staff and ensure accurate documentation.
• Observe and report patient condition; uphold MetroHealth mission and patient-first care.
• Maintain unit competencies and certifications; support continuous improvement.

Education

Ohio RN licensure
