Job summary

MetroHealth System is seeking an experienced registered nurse to plan, deliver, document, and evaluate patient care in an assigned area. You will direct nursing personnel, observe patient conditions, and maintain accurate documentation consistent with standards and policy.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license with ACLS/PALS/PEARS; NRP for neonatal, with BSN preferred and strong clinical and communication skills. Shift flexibility in a weekday schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Ohio RN licensure.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS required by AHA as listed; NRP per AAP for neonatal care.
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, medical asepsis and basic science applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, document, and evaluate nursing care per orders and standards.
• Direct activities of assigned nursing personnel and observe patient condition.
• Maintain timely documentation reflecting patient status, treatment, and response.
