Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking registered nurses to plan, deliver, document, and evaluate nursing care for patients in assigned units, in accordance with orders and recognized standards. You will coordinate with the care team and ensure timely documentation, patient safety, and adherence to MetroHealth policies.

The role requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications as applicable, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred or obtained within defined period.
• Preferred: BSN and certification; OR experience as noted in unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, document, and evaluate nursing care for patients in assigned areas according to provider orders and recognized nursing standards.
• Direct activities of assigned nursing staff.
• Observe, assess, and report patient condition; maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and patient response.
