Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, deliver, and document nursing care in an assigned area. You will supervise nursing staff, observe patient conditions, and ensure documentation reflects treatment and response to care, while upholding the system's mission and standards.

The role requires current Ohio RN licensure, BLS (and ACLS/PALS where certified), and provides opportunities for unit-specific certifications and growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current RN licensure in Ohio.
• AHA BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or to be obtained.
• BSN degree preferred; CNOR, NRP and other unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; ability to supervise or coordinate nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Plans, delivers, documents and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients per orders and standards.
• Directs activities of nursing personnel in care provision.
• Observes and reports patient status; maintains accurate documentation of care and responses.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, values and customer service standards.
