Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire
• Language skills to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in performing cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Locates historical information and maintains patient files.
• Performs equipment cleaning and ensures availability of supplies.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and scheduling procedures in the lab.
• Records procedure data accurately and communicates patient status to the clinical team.
