Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Neurophysiologist for intraoperative neuromonitoring. The role supports surgeons and the operating room team in a field-based position, performing monitoring during procedures and ensuring data quality. Training and career development are provided.

Candidates should hold CNIM, have a Bachelor’s degree with experience, and be prepared to travel up to 25% while maintaining hospital privileges and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years related experience, or an advanced degree with no experience
• Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM)
• Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and/or anatomy & physiology and/or troubleshooting preferred
• Operating Room experience preferred
• Strong time management & organizational skills, and ability to adapt to scheduling and operating room demands
• Effective English communication with surgeons and staff
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Be qualified for and maintain hospital privileges, including vaccination requirements
• Maintain CNIM status

Responsibilities

• Obtains a detailed medical history and discusses structures at risk with the surgeon
• Communicates monitoring information to the surgical team throughout the case
• Displays and labels waveforms and calculates latencies, amplitudes, and conduction times
• Identifies appropriate protocols and troubleshoots to ensure accurate data collection
• Completes documentation and maintains IOM logs/files
• Maintains neuromonitoring equipment and performs maintenance checks
• Adheres to Code of Conduct and company policies
• Ensures compliance with laws and regulations in the U.S. and internationally
• Represents the company professionally and upholds ethical business practices
